Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in education from an accredited college.
• Documented successful teaching experience with students with disabilities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of technology.
• Multi-categorical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructs individuals who have been identified, assessed and diagnosed with disabilities.
• Implements behavior modification techniques and classroom engineering skills to produce desirable behaviors.
• Writes academic and behavioral goals and objectives for IEPs and lesson plans.
• Develops and provides a wide variety of activities and tasks to meet objectives.
• Maintains classroom discipline and a safe learning environment.
• Participates in professional development and committee activities.
