Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher for an Illinois school district to support a small self-contained classroom of about 10 students, primarily with autism. The role involves delivering individualized instruction and coordinating with families and service providers.

You will participate in IEP meetings, implement positive behavior strategies, and track progress toward goals while maintaining a structured learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience with autism or self-contained classrooms preferred.

Responsabilités

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered educational planning.
• Deliver individualized instruction to address academic, communication, behavioral, and functional life skills.
• Promote student engagement, self-confidence, and independence through purposeful activities.
• Implement positive behavior strategies and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment.
• Track student progress toward IEP goals and complete required documentation.
• Develop and adapt lesson materials and routines for varying learning abilities.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, families, and related-service providers.
