Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Customer Service Cashier to deliver friendly checkout experiences, assist with carry-out services, and support self-checkout operations.

You will handle transactions with care and follow tender policies while maintaining a clean, safe store environment and upholding company policies. The role requires at least three months of cashier experience and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months of service as a cashier, office, or management experience recommended.
• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a consistent position at the entrance of the self-checkout lane when not assisting customers.
• Directs customers to self-checkout lanes based on availability and payment options.
• Resolves customer interventions accurately and with urgency.
• Monitors all transactions for accuracy.
• Ensures a safe and sanitary shopping environment by complying with safety procedures.
