Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is looking for a friendly cashier to engage with customers, process transactions accurately, and guide shoppers to self-checkout options. You will be part of a fast-paced retail team and help maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

You’ll work with a focus on accuracy, courteous service, and compliance with company policies, while supporting flexibility in scheduling and ongoing employee development.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months of cashier/retail experience recommended.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Partners driving for company business must be 21+ according to policy.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and provide efficient checkout services.
• Direct customers to self-checkout and assist as needed.
• Monitor transactions for accuracy and handle tender according to policy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary shopping environment.
