Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Self-Checkout Attendant for a part-time role at the Shreveport, LA location. You’ll engage customers, operate the self-checkout lanes, and assist with carryout services while maintaining accuracy and a safe shopping environment.

The role requires basic cash register knowledge, math skills, and the ability to learn new technology. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is needed, along with a commitment to friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months of service as a cashier, office, or management experience recommended.
• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a consistent position at the entrance of the self-checkout lane when not assisting customers.
• Directs customers to use self-checkout lanes based on availability and payment options.
• Monitors transactions for accuracy and supports courteous service.
• Ensures safe, clean, and sanitary shopping environment in line with policies.
