Food Lion in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Self Check Out Ambassador (Sales Associate) to provide fast, easy, and friendly service at the Front End. You will assist customers with SCO use, guide them to lanes, and help maintain a clean SCO area while monitoring for accuracy and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include welcoming customers, demonstrating SCO usage, and ensuring a smooth, fast checkout experience. This role reports to the Customer Service Manager and supports Front End standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Ambassador Engagement.
• Guide customers to the SCO lanes between the grocery aisles and SCO area.
• Assist customers using the Self Check Out (SCO) area.
• Show customers how to use the hand scanner for a fast checkout.
• Monitor SCO area while customers ring up groceries and maintain cleanliness.
