Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Selector - Perishable for the 2nd shift (3:30pm start, rotating schedule) in Greensboro, NC. You will safely select, stack and wrap perishable goods for store shipments and ensure pallets are ready for loading, while maintaining accurate production records.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or limited related experience), 18+ years of age, and pallet jack certification. The job involves working in a cool warehouse environment with heavy lifting.

  • Must pass pallet jack certification.

SELECTOR Perishable Warehouse - 2nd shift (3:30pm start / rotating schedule)

Responsible for safely, accurately and efficiently selecting, stacking and wrapping product, within establishment guidelines for shipment to stores. Must ensure that finished pallets are placed in the proper loading area and that records of outed product and daily production are maintained.

  • Select product ordered using approved methods with a minimum productivity level of 95% of the engineered standards.

  • Stack cases effectively and safely on pallets to ensure that product is not damaged.

  • Convey product from storage area to designated shipping areas.

  • Shrink wrap product on pallet according to procedure.

  • Mark products or items with identifying information.

  • Perform additional job functions as requested by supervisor or manager.

  • Follow company's attendance policy by coming to work on time and when scheduled.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Must be at least 18 years of age.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must pass pallet jack certification.
