Harris Teeter is seeking a Receiver Freezer Warehouse associate for the 3rd shift (7pm start time) to operate a forklift and stock products from the dock into designated locations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
You will perform pre-trip inspections, follow attendance and safety policies, and cross-train on pallet jack functions while supporting warehouse operations in Greensboro, NC.
Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties. Responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift and taking receiving product from the dock area and stocking it in the appropriate location.

Move levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
Conduct pre-trip inspection and notify appropriate personnel of malfunctions.
Perform additional job functions as requested by supervisor or manager.
Cross training required for pallet jack functions.
Reference RFS computer and/or appropriate computer printout to stock pallets.
Follow company's attendance policies and procedures.
Follow company's safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Warehouse Management System (Triceps), VLM Time System, Forklift RF unit, Triceps scan station.
Must be able to pass Forklift Certification Test and operate forklift.
