Job summary

NorthwestCorp. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota is seeking a General Labor/Demolition Specialist to perform concrete demolition, saw-cutting, material removal, equipment operation, and site prep while maintaining safety and efficiency on active jobsites. You will support project setup and teardown, traffic control, and collaborate with the team to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Selective Demolition: Perform concrete demolition, sawcutting, drilling, material removal, and site preparation.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate, inspect, and maintain demolition, cutting, and drilling equipment. Load/unload and transport tools and materials; report issues.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA regulations, safety policies, and PPE requirements to maintain a safe, compliant jobsite.
• Project Support: Assist with jobsite setup/teardown, excavations, traffic control, and other construction activities; collaborate to meet schedules.
