Job Goal: To provide support and instruction for learners who are at risk of not meetingacademic, social and emotional grade level expectations within the school setting under the guidance of certified school personnel

Performance Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the personal qualities and skills of flexibility, problem-solving, self-motivation, and effective communication skills
• Interact constructively with school personnel in a way that demonstrates respect for all learners, families and other school personnel
• Prepare instructional materials necessary to meet student needs with the guidance of certified staff
• Support students' progress by communicating SEL performance data with school personnel to facilitate planning, problem-solving and decision making
• Implement learning strategies that maintain supportive learning environments
• Monitor and adjust instruction in response to students' performance and engagement in learning tasks
• Provide meaningful, appropriate and specific feedback to students during instruction to improve their performance.
