North Ogden Junior High in Weber School District seeks a SEL Special Education Paraprofessional to support the classroom and students with behavioral needs in a 180-day calendar. This role focuses on implementing behavior supports, data collection, and collaboration with staff to foster a positive learning environment.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in education or with behavioral needs preferred.
• Willingness to participate in Mandt training and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Support SEL teacher and related staff in instructional and non-instructional activities.
• Utilize safe procedures when managing students with challenging behavior.
• Collect data on student behaviors and suggest instructional modifications.
• Collaborate with school teams to provide instruction without disruption.
• Provide accommodations and support in various settings (special ed, general ed, one-on-one).
