Ymca Of Central Maryland, Inc. is seeking a Program Specialist, Social Emotional Learning to help students build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to succeed in school and life.

You will work directly within schools, partnering with educators, families, and community organizations to provide individualized support and strengthen school engagement. By fostering relationships, coordinating services, and collaborating with partners, you will contribute to safe, inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Passion for empowering youth and helping students overcome barriers.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, educators, and community partners.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• At least two years of experience in education, youth development, behavioral health, counseling, case management, social work, or related human services.
• Experience coordinating services and collaborating with schools and community organizations.
• Knowledge of social-emotional learning, trauma-informed practices, or youth development (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Sociology, or related field (preferred).
