Job summary

High Plains Elementary School in Colorado Springs is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional (Social Emotional Learning) to support students and teachers in a positive learning environment. You will assist students, prepare materials, manage records, and help implement instructional programs under supervision.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and a commitment to student service. Hours: 7.5 per day, 37.5 hours per week, 162 days per year; compensation range $18.15–$19.06

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR certification or equivalent required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, production, and maintenance of teaching materials.
• Support students and teachers in completing instructional activities.
• Maintain student files and inventory of classroom materials.
• Proctor test-taking and assist with daily paperwork.
• Assist with small group and one-to-one instruction under supervision.
