Josselyn is seeking a SEL Consultant to provide school-based interventions for about 30 students. You will coordinate with school admin and teachers, lead MTSS meetings, and deliver group and individual supports to promote healthier student outcomes.

Responsibilities

Consultant is responsible for student groups and schedule, based on school multi-tier system of supports (MTSS) meetings, collected/analyzed student behavior data and classroom observations. Consultant will coordinate progress and data with school admin and teachers to act as a thought partner for school personnel. Consultant will collaborate with school teams to ensure appropriate interventions are implemented based on student need and symptoms, for students on their caseloads. Consultant will provide other classroom or students supports as appropriate and requested by the assigned school.Schedule and CompensationMonday - Friday 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM$50,000 - $60,000 based on experienceEssential Responsibilities and MetricsConsultant will collaborate with school support personnel to select appropriate students to receive intervention. Consultant will provide referral and assessment forms for school support members/teachers to complete upon referral for services. Consultant will attend MTSS/multi-disciplinary meetings to provide consultation and assessment for ongoing cases, inform referral processes, or provide guidance on student referrals and school wide SEL supports.Consultant will provide evidence-based group interventions as determined by student needs. Consultant will solely lead or co-facilitate groups with school identified staff. Consultant will also conduct individual counseling sessions for students who would benefit from crisis stabilization, brief short-term psychoeducational, suicide or homicidal assessments, or more long-term clinical supports to ensure students develop health habits.Consultant will also partner with schools to develop and facilitate parent or staff workshops that focus on the assessed needs of students and skill development.When appropriate, Josselyn clinicians will support students during disciplinary process by conducting peer-peer mediation, brief counseling and stabilization.
