Job summary

Josselyn Center seeks a SEL Consultant to deliver school-based interventions for about 30 students, coordinating with school admin and teachers to implement MTSS-informed supports. Responsibilities include group and individual sessions, data collection, and collaboration with school teams to tailor interventions to student needs.

The role follows a Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–3:30 PM schedule, with a salary range of $50,000–$60,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Master's or working towards a master's in a related graduate degree in social services.
• Experience working with children, family or schools.
• 3+ years’ experience working in school systems and/or community health-based organizations.
• Three professional references that reflect ability to perform clinical and school-based work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school teams to ensure appropriate interventions are implemented based on student need and symptoms on caseload.
• Provide evidence-based group interventions or co-facilitate groups with school staff, and conduct individual counseling when needed to support crisis stabilization and mental health.
• Coordinate progress and data with school admin and teachers as part of MTSS and data-driven decision making.
• Assist with parent or staff workshops focusing on assessed student needs and skill development.
