Job summary

Auria is seeking an experienced SEIT Engineer to support the full development lifecycle of portable SATCOM systems. This hybrid Colorado Springs role focuses on requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and delivery across hardware, software, RF, and cybersecurity components.

The ideal candidate has strong systems engineering skills, documentation discipline, and ability to lead tests and reviews in a collaborative, Agile environment. DoD experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in systems engineering, integration, verification, validation, or test.
• Experience with requirements traceability and verification methods.
• Experience developing or reviewing technical documentation and customer deliverables.
• Experience with Agile practices and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system architecture artifacts and interface definitions.
• Plan and coordinate system integration across hardware, software, networking, RF, and cybersecurity.
• Develop verification strategies, TEMP, test plans, and verification matrices.
• Lead integration and formal test activities, including readiness, execution, and closure.
• Review CDRLs and customer deliverables for technical accuracy and contractual compliance.
• Support technical reviews, acceptance activities, and configuration reviews.
• Assess impact of changes on requirements, interfaces, and schedules.
• Support system acceptance, field integration, and transition to operations.
• Provide technical guidance to SEIT engineers to improve repeatable practices.
