Job summary

Thompson Ranch Elementary in El Mirage, AZ seeks an iExplore Lab 26/27 SY Teacher to deliver a structured elementary program. The role reports to the Principal and requires a valid Arizona teaching certificate and SEI endorsement.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, providing individualized instruction, and maintaining high ethical standards. The position is full-time with a 1.0 FTE and an exempt status.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate.
• Acquire and maintain AZ Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).
• SEI endorsement is required for employment by Dysart Unified School District.

Responsibilities

• Teaches district approved curriculum.
• Instructs students in citizenship and basic subject matter specified in state law and admin regulations.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional material and provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.
• Translates lesson plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Communicates regularly with parents outside normal classroom day by newsletters, notes, calls, conferences, etc.
