Hopkins House, a non‑profit learning center for children, youths, and adults, with offices in Alexandria, Fairfax County, and Arlington County, is currently accepting applications and nominations for a program professional to manage the community college program for teens and young adults.
Incumbent is responsible for day‑to‑day management of the Early Childhood Education Institute (ECLI). In partnership with Northern Virginia Community College, local childcare centers, and other groups, the ECLI offers college courses, tutoring, counseling, and activities for low‑income teens and young adults, ages 18 years and older, with the goal to assist them to earn early childhood education credentials and college credits leading to an Associate degree.
Program Director is responsible for day‑to‑day management of the ECLI, including recruitment and enrollment of eligible students, supervision of staff and budget, and coordination of financial aid and college admissions process.
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
