Job summary

Enza Zaden in Salinas, CA is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support efficient movement, handling, sampling, and storage of seed lots in our processing and warehouse operations. The role ensures compliance with quality, safety, and procedural standards.

You will work with inventory using ABS systems, move seed lots between departments, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Candidates should have vocational experience, 1 year preferred, English proficiency, and be willing to work weekends and

Qualifications

• Proactive, safety-conscious, and organized.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading seed shipments.
• Executing warehouse processes according to protocols and safety guidelines.
• Managing inventory using the ABS system and handheld devices.
• Handling inbound/outbound seed lots and transporting seeds between departments.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Weighing random seed lots under auditors for stock accuracy.
• Providing flexible support across the entire warehouse department.
• Wearing PPE when working with treated or disinfected seed lots.
