Job summary

Sakata Seed America, INC. is seeking a Warehouse Technician: Inventory to assist with warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, and distribution of seed materials in Woodland, CA.

The role emphasizes accuracy in order pulling, data entry, and maintaining clean work areas while following safety protocols. The position requires ability to lift up to 55 pounds, operate forklift and warehouse equipment, and meet daily deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude.

• Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Able to learn seed treating, cleaning, and packaging processes.
• Able to operate and maintain forklifts and related equipment.
• Able to read and understand written instructions in English.
• Able to acquire Qualified Applicator Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Pull sales orders accurately for prompt shipment and paperwork.
• Receive, deliver and stock seed; complete required documentation and data entry.
• Pull reports for cyclic testing and prepare samples for updates.
• Perform inventory movements and data entry.
• Carry out daily cycle counts and report results; investigate discrepancies.
• Assist other departments as needed and maintain a neat work area.
• Follow safety requirements and company programs to minimize injuries and losses.
• Participate in GSPP seed handling training and comply with protocols.
• Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor or lead.
