Job summary

Enza Zaden USA, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Salinas, CA to participate in seed handling, movement, sampling, and storage within processing and warehouse operations.

You will support inventory accuracy, seed traceability, and timely movement of materials while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role requires proactive, safety-conscious, organized individuals who can work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Vocational experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Eligible for company auto insurance coverage.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) required.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload seed shipments.
• Execute warehouse processes according to protocols and safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory using the ABS system and handheld devices.
• Handle inbound/outbound seed lots and transport seeds within the facility.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Weigh random seed lots under auditors' supervision to ensure stock accuracy.
• Provide flexible support across the warehouse department.
• Wear PPE when handling treated or disinfected seed lots.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
