Job summary

Syngenta Seeds Field Crops in the United States seeks a lab data management and process lead to oversee calibration procedures, SSL and maintenance activities, and coach Analysts and contractors. You will ensure accurate SSL data, develop procedures, and drive HSE initiatives on site.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in seed production or related lab work, plus strong skills in LIMS, SAP, Fiori and Excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 4+ years relevant lab/seed QC experience.
Proficient to expert use of LIMS, SAP, Fiori, Excel and planning/reporting tools.
Strong leadership with ability to drive results and accuracy.
On-site leadership ensuring lab tasks are completed and trusted by stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (SPL, Planning, Genotyping).

Responsibilities

Active involvement in lab data management, collection and analysis.
Coordinate testing within assigned areas.
Develop procedures and training materials for SSL, Treating, Deblending and Physical Purity.
Lead safety initiatives and contractor training.
Identify and lead SSL and maintenance improvement projects.
Direct supervision of Analysts and contract staff.
Coordinate 3rd party contractor needs including sourcing and coaching performance.
