Job summary

Iowa Ag is seeking a Seed Technician to operate equipment in our production facility and ensure safe, efficient, and quality-oriented processes. You will mentor seasonal staff, perform basic maintenance, and use SAP to document readings, orders, and production data.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic IT skills, and a valid driver’s license; overtime may be required. The ideal candidate will support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, uphold HSE and QA standards, and collaborate with

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift 40–50 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate production equipment and monitor real-time data to ensure quality.
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Coach and train seasonal workers and trainees.
Support continuous improvement programs (5S, Lean, Six Sigma).
Use SAP for admin tasks and document readings, maintenance orders, and production info.
Maintain process documentation and adhere to HSE/QA standards.
Participate in DDS meetings and help allocate shift resources.
Drive a company vehicle as required.
