Job summary

Beck’s Hybrids in Iowa is seeking a production/plant operator to handle equipment operation, seed processing, and related duties across field and plant environments. The role supports unloading, staging, and quality checks while participating in field planting and pollination activities.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to perform measurements. A valid driver’s license and medical requirements may apply; occasional overnight travel is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform mathematical computations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Beck’s equipment and processing lines.
• Assist in unloading inbound shipments and staging outbound shipments.
• Assist with field isolation, planting, and pollination inspections.
• Perform seed processing, husking, sorting, drying, and shelling operations as needed.
• Maintain records of operations and repairs; report to Processing Plant Manager.
