Job summary

Beck’s Hybrids is seeking a Seed Operations Technician in Coon Rapids, IA. You will operate seed production facilities, processing lines, and packaging lines while supporting field activities throughout the production cycle.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid license. Some duties may involve travel and heavy lifting as part of the seed operations team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record preferred.
• CDL or Chauffeur license preferred.
• Basic knowledge of farming and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Beck’s equipment and processing lines as directed.
• Operate the seed treater and bagging line.
• Assist with inbound/outbound shipments and staging of products.
• Assist with field isolation, planting, and pollination inspections.
• Perform general farm and seed duties and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain accurate operation records and report needs to the Plant Manager.
• Operate commercial motor vehicles as directed.
• Travel to regional locations may be required.
