Job summary

SeedQuest is looking for an Area Production Manager in Parma, Idaho, to oversee the production of vegetable seeds. This role includes managing production plans, optimizing local infrastructure, and collaborating with global teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, extensive experience in seed production, leadership skills, and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience in seed production.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and teamwork abilities.
• Comfortable with domestic travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Executing the production plan to deliver required seed volumes.
• Advising on producibility of new varieties.
• Maintaining and optimizing local production infrastructure.
• Managing acceptance/rejection of supplier lots.
• Implementing and monitoring crop-management SOPs.
• Building and managing a reliable grower network.
