Aerotek in Ames, IA is seeking a Processing Technician to run seed bagging equipment, operate a forklift, and support production at a fast-paced seed processing plant. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a safety-focused team and a physical workload.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 13 years of forklift experience, and at least 1 year of machine operation, with lifting up to 50 lbs and long periods of standing. Onsite shifts vary seasonally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 13 years of forklift experience, operating a forklift about half the day.
• At least 1 year of machine operation experience.
• Basic computer data entry and equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Operate seed bagging and packaging equipment.
• Check product weights, labels, and package quality.
• Drive a forklift to move materials and load/unload trucks.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Complete production and inventory logs accurately.
• Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean.
