Job summary

HM.CLAUSE, a Limagrain unit, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Modesto, CA. Responsibilities include keeping the warehouse clean, operating seed-processing equipment, and performing quality checks from production orders to ensure accurate, traceable seed handling.

The role requires 2-5 years in manufacturing/ag operations, high school diploma, and forklift certification. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a hybrid-friendly environment where safety and efficiency are prioritized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or agricultural operations.
• Multiskill – knowledge of process and equipment across departments with SOPs and certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in keeping the warehouse clean and safe.
• Operate equipment and follow processes to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Participate in the general warehouse annual inventory.
• Adhere to all plant procedures (Safety, Quality, HR, etc.).
• Responsible for product quality assessments and adherence to product specifications.
• Identify and check seed as per production orders; fill orders per instructions.
• Ensure clean-downs and changeovers prevent product mix-ups.
• Handle chemicals and hazardous materials for seed treatment safely.
• Work equipment for seed cleaning, sizing, treating and packaging.
• Maintain machine and chemical log books for traceability.
• Perform sampling to maintain quality standards.
• Double-check product identification throughout the process.
• Print and complete information to fulfill work orders.
• Prepare seed for shipping and receiving.
• Implement preventive maintenance for plant equipment.
