Job summary

Beck's Hybrids in Nebraska seeks a plant worker to assist in processing, treating and packaging seed. You’ll follow leadership direction, operate the bagging line and seed treater, and help maintain quality across the production line.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to perform calculations. Fork lift training will be required to complete the job successfully.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
• Basic mechanical skills needed.
• Able to perform mathematical calculations.
• Must complete Beck’s Fork Lift training successfully.

Responsibilities

• Follow directives from Bagging Lead/Plant Manager or Location Manager.
• Operate processing equipment in the plant.
• Operate the seed treater in the plant.
• Operate the bagging line.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisor.
• Report operation status to supervisor.
• Report supply needs to continue operation.
• Assist with quality control standards in processing, treating and packaging
• Assist husking, sorting, drying, discard and shelling operations.
• Assist with seed box washing activities.
• Record bagging information for leadership.
• Perform other duties as required by leadership.
