Job summary

Beck's Hybrids is seeking a hands-on facility worker to support processing, treating and packaging of seed. You will follow directions from site leadership and operate bagging lines and seed treating equipment at the Nebraska plant.

Preferred candidates have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license and basic mechanical skills. Beck’s offers comprehensive benefits and safety-driven work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical skills and be able to perform mathematical calculations.
• Must complete Beck’s Fork Lift training.
• Ability to understand and follow directions from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Follow directives from Bagging Lead, Plant Manager or Location Manager for processing products.
• Operate processing equipment in the plant.
• Operate the seed treater and bagging line.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisor.
• Record bagging information and report status to supervisors.
• Assist with husking, sorting, drying, discard and shelling operations.
• Perform other related duties as required.
