Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks a Seed Processing Associate in Seward, NE for a temporary contract. You will support soybean breeding, harvest prep, seed processing, inventory tracking, and data entry in a team-based setting.

Work outdoors and indoors, with Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, paying $19–$20 per hour. This role offers hands-on agricultural operations experience and opportunities to contribute to seed research support activities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in production or operations preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office familiarity.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with harvest preparation and soybean hand harvesting.
• Operate or support threshing processes.
• Process, organize, and track soybean seed inventory.
• Collect and enter harvest and inventory data using Word and Excel.
• Follow safety procedures and team workflows in indoor/outdoor settings.
• Work in varying outdoor conditions, including sun, heat, dust, and insects.
