Job summary

Qualifications

• Be a citizen of the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Police Science, Public Safety and/or related field.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Minimum 2 years in a training/education environment or equivalent.
• Professional image, outstanding customer service, and effective presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a changing environment.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
• Physically capable of activities including running, jumping, defensive tactics, and firearms instruction.
• Willing to travel for training on rotation; Lautenberg Amendment compliance.

Responsibilities

• Use IS-format classroom instruction developed for the role.
• Develop training programs, PPTs, syllabus, and testing material.
• Apply various training delivery methods (OJT, Web-based, etc.).
• Assign training to personnel as applicable.
• Schedule personnel to attend applicable training.
• Maintain CPR, AED and Adult First Aid instructor certifications.
