Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Trainer in the Washington, DC area to conduct comprehensive training programs in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company standards.

The Security Trainer will lead CPR/First Aid/AED, Defensive Tactics, Mobility Devices, Fire Safety Services and related programs, with responsibilities including collaboration with HR and branch managers to ensure compliant training and delivery of field sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in security, safety, or training field.
• Minimum of two years of professional-level experience in learning program development and classroom instruction.
• Able to work independently with little to no direct supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to deliver training programs in accordance with laws and Allied Universal standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with HR Coordinators and Branch Managers to develop practical training programs at the branch level and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and establish relationships with local training academies to provide external training opportunities.
• Communicate with stakeholders (Regional Training Manager, Field operations, Security Professionals, Supervisors, Clients).
• Deliver field training programs in accordance with laws and Allied Universal standards.
• Conduct CPR/First Aid/AED training.
• Conduct Defensive Tactics training.
• Conduct Mobility Devices training.
• Deliver Fire Safety Services training and evacuation drills.
• Lead leadership training programs to Security Professionals and Supervisors.
• Support the region with special projects as needed.
