The Architect of the Capitol is seeking an experienced security professional to join the Office of the Chief Security Officer as a security specialist. You will work as part of a team that plans and conducts security training, administration, and inspections for the organization under OCSO.

Qualified candidates will have demonstrated expertise in applying security and resilience policies, delivering training, and leading inspection activities.

Qualifications

• Experience applying security policies, procedures and practices to resolve complex security problems.
• Ability to conduct classes and briefings on operational security topics.
• Experience contributing to security education or training programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct security-related training, administration and inspections.
• Collaborate within the Security Division to implement security measures and inspections.
• Develop inspection reports and track corrective actions to closure.
