Dewberry in Nashville, TN is seeking a Security/Technology (Low Voltage) Designer to support the Technology group within our Engineering Design Center. The ideal candidate has a background in security/technology design, holds RCDD/CPP/PSP certifications, and brings 3+ years of low voltage experience, ready to lead design tasks and collaborate with project teams.

You’ll contribute to proposals, budgeting, and coordination with outside consultants, while developing your technical and management

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree is a plus.
• RCDD, CPP, or PSP certifications required.
• 3+ years of experience in low voltage systems (e.g., structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, A/V).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design for low voltage systems.
• Peer review project work and establish design standards.
• Coordinate with team members and outside consultants to meet project goals.
• Assist with proposals, budgeting, and sales support for multidisciplinary projects.
• Ensure adherence to schedules and budgets while tracking project scope.
