Job summary

Pan Pacific Orchard Singapore is seeking a Security Team Leader to support the Security Manager in safeguarding guests, staff, and assets. The role involves active patrols, monitoring CCTV, and coordinating incident responses with a focus on guest safety and smooth hotel operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in security or policing, a valid PLRD license, and GCE N/O Levels qualification, with the ability to lead a team and interact professionally with guests as ambassadors

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Security or Police Force.
• GCE N/O Levels certification.
• Valid PLRD license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to ensure safety and security of guests and staff.
• Ensure physical safety by checking doors, lighting, and emergency equipment.
• Monitor CCTV and operate the Fire Command Centre; report incidents.
• Assist guests with security needs and manage luggage/driveway access when needed.
• Brief incoming shift and handover information; attend key meetings as required.
• Investigate incidents and prepare incident reports for follow-up actions.

The Security Team Leader assists the Security Manager to ensure safety and security for customers and employees in the Hotel and to protect personal and real assets.

Our Expectations:

• Conduct routine patrols with his team, looking out for suspicious persons, fires, mischiefs or safety hazards.

• Ensure the physical safety of the property by checking that all doors, windows, lights, equipment, locks and emergency equipment are locked to prevent any unlawful entry and responds to any distress calls and alarms.

• Ensure all the fire alarm and security systems, such as main fire alarm/ sub alarm panel, public address system, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and panic alarm, lightings are working properly and report any breakdown or defect.

• Assist guests and associates with their requests for security assistance.

• While on patrol, assist guests with luggages and driveway management , including opening vehicle doors for our guests if our Front Office Associates are not at site.

• Brief incoming shift Associate and update of information and development as part of handover of duties.

• Report any unlawful activities such as trespassing, theft or mischief to law enforcement officers. Conduct investigations of any incident and/or suspicious activities and prepare incident reports for follow up action.

• Assist to monitor the CCTV and operate the systems in the Fire Command Centre.

• In the absence of his Managers, he will assist to attend the Operations meeting, Weekly meeting and Fire Safety meeting as required.

We are looking for a self-motivated, eagle‑eyed Security professional who is passionate about keeping the safety and security of others and the Hotel. He/She should minimally possess at least 3 years of experience either in Security or Police Force with GCE N/O Levels certification as well as a valid PLRD license. Other than physical surveillance, he/she should have a pleasant disposition and be able to interact with our guests as our Ambassadors.
