Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; post-secondary certificates preferred.
• WSQ Security Certificate and PLRD license beneficial.
• Strong communication and observation skills; basic security responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel through patrols and access control.
• Report irregularities and restrain trespassers per policy.
• Follow SOPs and supervisor instructions.
• Update task logs in security system after completion.
• Ensure all exit doors are secured.
• Monitor CCTV and surveillance hourly.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The role involves conducting patrols, monitoring CCTV systems, controlling access points, enforcing security procedures, reporting incidents, and maintaining accurate records in the security management system. The ideal candidate is vigilant, reliable, and able to perform duties in accordance with established SOPs and supervisor instructions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points; permitting entry.

• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.

• To perform task as per SOP and instruction given by superior.

• To update task in the security inXsight constantly after task are done.

• Secure all exit doors.

• CCTV observation through monitor hourly etc.

Job Requirements:

• Minimally High School Diploma, Post-Secondary Degree or Certificate

• WSQ Cert in Security Courses and PLRD License are advantageous

• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.

• Knowledgeable in basic security roles & responsibilities; Surveillance Skills, Patrolling, Reporting Skills.

• Possess good technology skills.

• 2 - 3 years experience will be advantageous.

• Have good interpersonal skills, helpful and committed to perform task.
