Job summary

Huntsville Hospital seeks a Supervisor to assist in training and supervising courtesy, call center, security, command center, and courier staff. Under the Department Supervisor, you will manage day-to-day operations with focus on service quality and policy enforcement. The role requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Must have 1–2 years customer service experience.
• Must possess a driver's license and be insurable by HH standards.
• CPR certification
• MOAB certification
• State of Alabama Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement & an up to date DOT Medical Examiners Certificate

Job description

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

Education/Certification

High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred. Must have the following within initial 90 days of employment:

• CPR certification
• Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification
• State of Alabama Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement & an up to date/current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate is required

Experience

Minimum of one (1-2) year supervisory experience and one (1-2) year customer service experience preferred. Must possess a driver's license and be insurable by HH standards. Leadership in health care setting preferred.

Additional Skills/Abilities

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to enforce policies in an assertive, yet courteous, manner needed. Must possess some computer skills with ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications.
