Job summary

Kenny Electric is seeking a Security Service Technician to install basic security systems in Denver, CO. The role includes reading drawings, field device terminations, maglock wiring, and low-voltage cabling on commercial projects.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in security, basic MS Office skills, and preferably LenelS2 certification; OSHA-30 is a plus. You will collaborate with the Project Manager to track status and ensure site safety.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years performing related functions within the Security industry.
• LenelS2 programming certifications preferred.
• Basic understanding of MS Office Software especially Excel.
• Demonstrated ability as a team-player with good communication.
• Willing to obtain OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands basic security drawings.
• Performs field device terminations.
• Wires a maglock circuit following drawings and instructions.
• Performs low-voltage cabling, wiring and cable management.
• Measures AC and DC voltage.
• Programs LenelS2 systems.
• Measures continuity and resistance.
• Maintains daily update log and project status.
• Supports Project Managers with weekly review of job status.
