Job summary

AC&T Co. Inc. is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage systems for commercial clients. You will gain hands-on experience with CCTV cameras, access control, cabling, and networked security devices.

Responsibilities include installing and testing CCTV/NVR/DVR systems, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with safety codes. Team-based environment with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in low-voltage installation and service is a plus.
• Familiar with CCTV, NVR/DVR, and IP-based security systems.
• Basic networking concepts (IP addressing, switches) knowledge.
• Able to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and maintain CCTV/security camera systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and service low-voltage systems.
• Install and terminate low-voltage cabling.
• Configure and troubleshoot network-connected security devices and NVR/DVR systems.
• Install access control, intercom, alarm, and related security systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Ensure installations comply with company standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
• Document work performed, service reports, and customer communications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a professional manner.
