Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician or installer specializing in low voltage systems (CCTV, security, fire alarms, telecom).
• Strong knowledge of NEC standards, local electrical codes, and safety practices.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret system design documents.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service CCTV, security alarms, fire alarms, sensors, IDS, and access control.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting for optimal performance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and design documents.
• Perform cabling, wiring, and termination of communication lines with hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work and system configurations.
• Provide remote access support to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades.
• Ensure compliant installations with NEC standards and local codes.
• Assist in sales activities for alarm system upgrades or proposals when needed.
• Maintain on-site safety following OSHA regulations and company policies.
