Job summary

HCI Systems Inc. in California is seeking a skilled Security Service Technician to inspect, test, service, troubleshoot and repair Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion systems in medium to large commercial buildings.

This role requires responding to emergency and scheduled service calls, installing and diagnosing wiring and control panels, reading blueprints and diagrams, and communicating clearly with customers and other contractors on site.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to meet background and driving record requirements.
• Proficient in using industry-related equipment, including MS Office.
• Excellent communications skills and professional on-site presence.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
• Ability to access elevated work areas and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls requiring installation, programming or repair of Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion systems.
• Test systems after repairs to ensure proper performance.
• Install, diagnose and repair wiring and control panels for security systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
• Provide on-site assistance and professional customer support.
