Job summary

IES Communications, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to provide internal and customer process analytics and support the sales team with customer-facing services and solutions. The role includes assisting in pre-construction deliverables and requests, designing low-voltage solutions, and coordinating turnover with project management and operations.

The candidate should have security systems experience, Design Build capabilities, and 4–6 years in telecommunications or related fields.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RCDD certification preferred.
• Structured cabling industry experience preferred.
• Experience interfacing with customers, acting as liaison between customer and company.
• Minimum of 4–6 years in telecommunications or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Design low-voltage solutions for IES clients with the sales team.
• Identify customer service requirements and provide technical information.
• Analyze cost-benefit ratios and propose changes in equipment or processes.
• Serve as liaison between sales, project management and operations during turnover.
• Prepare site-visit reports for pre-construction and sales teams.
• Attend training on technical requirements per company guidelines.
• Participate in project turnover meetings and cover all details and expectations.
• Handle other assigned responsibilities.
