Job summary

Vision Technologies in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a seasoned security systems project lead. You will own projects from receipt of engineering work packages to final delivery and documentation, ensuring installations are completed on time and on budget.

You will oversee ACS, CCTV, IDS deployments, manage staff on multiple sites, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain client communications throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience installing, programming, and integration of ACS, CCTV, IDS security systems on large/complex projects.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience leading large/complex security system install job sites and/or proven ability to work independently.
• Experience with multiple product lines (Genetec, DMP, AMAG, Galaxy, and DSX) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of access control and surveillance systems.
• Maintain staff requirements for ongoing projects and ensure on-time delivery within budgets.
• Track materials and labor while coordinating crews and installations under deadlines.
• Provide detailed project reporting, resolve issues, and manage project budgets.
• Supervise technicians and lead technicians; provide on-the-job training as needed.
• Maintain communications with customers and relay implementation details to engineering for work orders.
