Job summary

Granite School District is seeking a Security Systems Manager to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems across district environments. The role leads technicians, schedules projects, and ensures safety and compliance with policy.

The manager will supervise, train, and guide a team while managing budgets, inventory, and procurement of access control, surveillance, and alarm systems. Strong collaboration with vendors and other departments is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years electronics training or four years electronics experience.
• Requires valid driver’s license.
• Must complete asbestos training within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of IT certification as designated by the district.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the security systems team.
• Lead installation, maintenance, and repair of security electronics.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for security systems.
• Manage budgets and inventory for tools, parts, and equipment.
• Coordinate with district purchasing and vendors for equipment.
