Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Denver seeks an organized individual to support the Security Team with administrative tasks, documentation, and parts logistics. You will review drawings, assist with installations, and help ensure field systems function properly.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and flexibility for occasional evenings or out-of-town assignments. A clean driving record and transportation to job sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Industry experience is preferred.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
• Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to/from the office or job site.
• Must be flexible with scheduling requirements that occasionally will require evening, weekend and/or out-of-town assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties for the Security Team.
• Create operations manuals and instructional documentation.
• Type quotes from sales representatives.
• Assist with follow-ups.
• Assist with ordering parts.
• Pick up and delivering parts.
• Review blueprints/drawings to determine device locations and placement.
• Assist with installation of cables, intrusion/ burglar alarms, cameras, and access control components.
• Setup servers and install licenses to be deployed in the field.
• Ensure materials and equipment match scope of work and job sold.
• Provide a weekly/daily job status for review with manager.
• Stage parts for projects and jobs.
• Verify integrity of all work prior to beginning.
• Repair as needed to ensure a fully compliant system operation.
• If assigned a company vehicle, maintain an accurate inventory of truck stock, ensure vehicle is regularly serviced and report problems.
• Maintain assigned tools and equipment and report defects or problems immediately.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
