Johnson Controls Security Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert handling intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems from multiple manufacturers. You will identify customer needs and guide them through repair steps to restore full functionality, delivering high-quality service and clear documentation.

This on-site role emphasizes practical problem solving, precise communication with customers, and written or digital reports.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in low-voltage or security industry.
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Development).
• Ability to pass thorough background and identity checks.
• Well versed in Access Controls, CCTV, Burglary and Fire Alarms in Commercial Applications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot intrusion, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems on site.
• Inspect systems, report status to customer and company.
• Provide recommendations and written quotes to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other agencies.
