Job summary

Cook Solutions Group is seeking a Full Time Security Service Technician in Idaho Falls or Pocatello, ID. You will install and service electronic and physical security systems, troubleshoot failures, conduct site surveys, and train customers while upholding our We Make It Happen culture.

Requirements include 2–5 years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of electronic and physical security service and installation experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Knowledge of security equipment such as alarm systems, access control, video CCTV systems
• Ability to travel up to a week if necessary
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites for alarm failure troubleshooting and repair.
• Install and service electronic and physical security products and pull wires as needed.
• Install and wire electronic equipment used in systems.
• Account for all tools, equipment, and parts.
• Test all installed equipment for proper performance and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair security equipment.
• Communicate project status to management and customers.
• Conduct site surveys as required.
• Complete paperwork timely per procedures and deadlines.
