Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Field Service Technician to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of retail security technologies across a multi-state Northeast and Mid-Atlantic territory. The role emphasizes independent field work, customer interaction, and travel to customer sites within the assigned region.

The ideal candidate has experience with low-voltage systems, CCTV, access control, and structured cabling, plus strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience installing or servicing low-voltage systems.
• Experience with CCTV, cameras, alarm systems, access control, structured cabling, or related technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
• Professional customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the work week.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair low-voltage security and loss prevention systems.
• Troubleshoot cameras, wireless devices, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and field service work.
• Run and terminate low-voltage cabling.
• Support larger installation projects throughout the territory.
• Communicate directly with store managers and customer contacts.
• Document completed work and service activity.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned region.
