LaForce in Tampa, FL seeks a Security Integration Field Laborer to install and maintain access control, CCTV, and intercom systems for commercial clients.

You will program systems, read wiring diagrams, and train customers, while ensuring safety and quality from start to finish. This role offers hands-on training, company-provided tools, and a path for growth within a security-focused team.

Qualifications

• Technical/other training in Electronics Engineering Technology preferred.
• Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install and program access control systems, CCTV, intercoms, and hardware with precision.
• Troubleshoot and adjust systems to meet customer needs.
• Disassemble and remove electrical products and door hardware safely.
• Train customers on new and existing systems and software.
• Produce quality results on time and within budget, and maintain professional customer relationships.
• Create wiring diagrams upon project completion for future reference.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, sales staff, and supervisors.
• Operate a company vehicle safely in accordance with policy.

This role assists with installing and maintaining access control systems, video surveillance, and other electro‑mechanical security products for commercial businesses.

What You'll Do

• Help with installing and programming access control systems, CCTV, intercoms, security systems, and electrical hardware with precision and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and adjust new or existing systems to meet customer needs.
• Safely handle disassembly and removal of electrical products and door hardware.
• Train customers on new and existing systems and software.
• Produce quality results on time and within budget, representing the company professionally, and fostering strong customer relationships.
• Help with accurate wiring diagrams upon project completion for future reference.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with customers, sales staff, and supervisors.

What You'll Bring

We welcome applicants with technical certificates, equivalent professional experience, or relevant military experience in electrical or mechanical fields. The ideal candidate has knowledge of low‑voltage electrical wiring, the ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints, strong problem‑solving skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Occasionally carry loads up to 75 pounds.
• Perform tasks requiring elevated activity.
